hot off the heels of the beautiful obsolete machines lp released this month, radiuss cassette demo restoration project returns to form with the interpolation tapes series. the original source tapes had aged, warped and degraded and as a result we ve preserved the best segments, sampled and reprocessed with a vintage prophet 2000 sampler, studio 440 and various linn samplers to add depth and range to the original source material. we ve spent nearly an entire year restoring and interpolating over 100 hours of music, processing sound and redesigning the blueprints of this long forgotten project. every track was originally recorded down to an old tascam 688, an 8 track cassette recorder purchased and abused since 1992 and to our ears still sounds quite impressive even by modern standards. we ve had nearly every component replaced and re-calibrated to bring this obsolete machine back to life. it s been a truly nostalgic experience re-visiting and re-arranging these masters, regardless of the time passed, there s so much depth in sound design, raw emotions and when considering the limitations of hardware in the era these were recorded, they ve truly aged like a fine wine. we hope you enjoy this magical time in music, as we are very inspired by all that was happening in those years, theres undeniably something in the air, a mystifying energy, long may it live on.

recently, superpitcher was invited to go on a safari in south africa. he bought a custom made safari hat at his favorite milliner in cologne (ju&#776,rgen eifler) and set off with big eyes and a pair of binoculars. it was wild and wonderful and he saw many exotic (and big!) animals, even a leopard in a tree that told him the secret of the universe. he forgot what the leopard said because his mind was still playing and replaying the sound of what he heard on the first night of his arrival Ð the hypnotic and moving sound of the voices of africa, the voices of the wonderful tanda tula staff choir. there, the choir members work during the day at the camp and at night entertain the guests with their captivating voices and energetic dancing. so impressed was he with their songs and beautiful shangaan language that he decided to record a cd for them to sell in the shop at their camp and now this precious recording is also available through hippie dance / bush recordings on vinyl and cd for you in whatever wherever camp you are. the lp of the tanda tula choir comes with a very pretty poster.

vinny villbass is one of the long time driving forces behind the norwegian club scene. in addition to an extensive list of club nights and house parties on his conscience, he is one third of the crew behind the renown oslo club night sunkissed and initiator of the norwegian web-portal osloclubcast, building ties between the clubs, dj s, and producers of oslo. as dj, vinny villbass is known for his exceptional groove and timing as a result of 15 years behind the decks, mostly in scandinavia, but also as a resident of german club capitol berlin, and in new york city. his musical experience also reaches far beyond his 15 years as house dj and vinyl junkie. as guitar and synth player in diskjokkeband and a master of acoustics, vinny villbasså production skills fronts his very own trademark sound of house music.

our first go ibiza compilation has been compiled by bobby & steve and michael hughes and mixed by our very own bobby & steve. it features 28 amazing tracks and is modelled around the launch of our groove odyssey presents go ibiza four day weekender, which took place from the 19th-22nd of may 2017 at the beach star hotel, san antonio bay, ibiza. with over 40 artists from around the globe coming together on the magical island of ibiza, it was a memorable affair and many of the guests now feature on the album.
